About Me

I’m Megan Vasquez-Jourdan, a mental health counselor, parent, and fellow burnout survivor.

My work is shaped by my own experience in recovering from burnout and from nearly twenty years in public health and employee wellness, where I have focused on burnout and workplace toxicity at both individual, organizational, and systemic levels.

I specialize in helping people untangle burnout by exploring the patterns that keep them stuck like perfectionism, people-pleasing, misalignment between values and expectations, and chronic self-doubt. These patterns often stem from early experiences where we learned to seek validation from others rather than to cultivate it within ourselves. In therapy, we shift those patterns so you can feel more grounded, self-trusting, and aligned to your purpose.

I also help clients explore the systems they’re part of—workplaces, relationships, communities—and discern what parts of those may be contributing to burnout, what is within their control to change, and what may require boundaries, grief, or letting go.

My counseling practice incorporates both mind-based and somatic work. Together, we’ll create space for you to rest, reconnect with joy, and build a life that feels meaningful and sustainable.

I’m a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and welcome all identities and backgrounds. For more information on my work experience, please visit my LinkedIn.
